But we also understand that not everyone feels like their body was ‘born to dance’, so first classes can feel daunting.
That’s why we created Èlan Dance Est, we want to add the additional magic that is a super supportive community to enable you to embrace your own rhythm. A space for everyone to expand into themselves and experience the transformative power of dance, whether you’ve got two left feet, a wobbly sense of balance or don’t know your lefts from your rights…. COOL DOWN:
Cooling down is just as important as warming up, take a few minutes to stretch and let your body settle. In winter make sure you pop layers back on before you cool down too much.
REFUEL:
A combination of protein, carbohydrates and healthy fats, can help restore energy levels and support muscle recovery.
REST & RECOVER:
Give yourself a break and take time to rest & recover between classes, rest is crucial for allowing your muscles to repair and strengthen whilst assisting in injury prevention.
