Dancer of the month – July

While the weather’s cooling down, our dancefloor’s been heating up and we’ve let this girl simmer under the radar for awhile but no more 🔥! It’s time to award the amazing, Caitlin Young, as our July Dancer of the Month! Caitlin started dancing in 2010, training in Hip-Hop for two years. This year she finally decided to pick up her talent again and found us! She says the teachers in all of our classes are the most humble people, who will go to the ends of the earth to make you feel welcome and make sure you understand the choreography. She’s been in several community performances since she started and says the teachers are very encouraging and are a safety net… They’re always ready to pick you up. But they also know when and how hard to push you 😈. Caitlin loves the friendly, non-judgement atmostphere at Elan. You can even be as loud as you want 😂👍🏽. She has grown so much in her confidence that she’s been quietly creating her own Dancehall choreography and now has the ability to share it with others. For that, she really appreciates being part of Elan. This chick is such a student of the style, doing her own research outside of class, and we are so proud of how far she’s come as a dancer and as a beautiful human being. Thank you for the life and energy that you bring into class each week. Congratulations!!! 🎉🎉🎉
